Optometrist

This is an exciting position at a centrally located eye clinic and surgery center in Edmonton. We are seeking a skilled optometrist to join our busy clinic and surgical facility for 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be able to provide post surgical exams as well as other comprehensive eye exams.

The position would include:

-Performing post surgical check ups
-Ensuring post op protocols with surgery are being followed
-Conducting routine eye exams for glaucoma, diabetes AMD, keratoconus
-Maintaining accurate patient records
-Coordinating with Ophthalmologists on patient care

The Ideal Candidate:

-Licensed Optometrist in good standing to practice in Alberta
-Excellent clinic and communication skills
-Able to collaborate with others but also work independently
-Highly reliable
-Looking to supplement an existing position elsewhere and/or interested in only part time hours

The compensation for this role is fee-based, with minimal overhead.
